Super excited for you all! You guys have always been inspiring in very real ways, particularly your apparent mastery of the art of involving your kids in the business of life. I hope the move is great for you. I was recently reading back old blog posts and reliving some of the interactions back when Bitterschweet Feet was in its prime. It was nice seeing the things that had changed and the others that were still very much the same. I'm bummed that you didn't move to NC, but they are thinning out the forests near where I live so I think you would have been miserable here.

Having spent all my life in the Kansas City area, except that phase when we were joyriding through Falmouth and Chiapas and playing basketball in the airplane hangar, it feels surreal to be moving. I'm hoping it goes great too, in those moments when I can make myself stop thinking about all the logistics. NC came up when we were talking about possible destinations, but the distance from family made it a long shot. Wish I knew that state better. Hey, we'll be closer in AR...
